Welcome to Cookie Nomad, a very sweet place made of cookie dreams. We specialize in sugar cookies decorated with royal icing. We love to create beautiful cookies for every and any special occasion and thrive in delivering a 100% customized set to every client. Whatever special event you have, whether it´s a birthday, anniversary, wedding, graduation, website launch, rebrand, or a baby announcement if it's important to you, it is important to us and we would love to make that occasion extra sweet for you.
All About Us
Cookie Nomad is a one-woman show located in Redmond, Washington. My name is Mariana Báez, I was born and raised in Monterrey, México. I got married in 2016 and moved to Seattle with my husband while he attended an MBA program. We lived there for 3 years and in 2019 we moved to Canada for 2.5 years before moving back to the beautiful PNW in 2022.Â
I've loved cookie decorating since 2013 but did it on and off for a few years only. When our daughter, Julia, was turning 1 I rediscovered my lost love for cookie decorating and jumped right back to it. Cookie decorating quickly became my creative outlet and soon after I started teaching in-person cookie classes. Once Covid hit and all classes and plans were canceled, Cookie Nomad slowly started creating custom sets for special occasions.
